The Two-Fer




I’ve been getting a little lazy here with the blog. I went on a date with this chick over the weekend and I neglected to write about it, but I ended up going out with her again, after she spent an afternoon texting me. This chick was my third OkCupid chick. So far the site has been a bust. I think I am finally ready to move on. However, this most recent chick is kind of cool. I think she is really good friend material, not so much girlfriend material though.


We have some shit in common: growing up on Long Island, and went to a decent school upstate (she went to Binghampton not far from but nearly as cool as Cornell). She’s a big pothead too which I guess is cool. Not that I am so into that anymore but I can get along with that mentality. She actually got me pretty baked on the first date. We met at a bar, had some drinks, and bar food. I got her to smoke me up as we parted ways.


I actually had a decent time with her the first go round. It was somewhat awkward at times but we managed to keep the conversation going. The same goes for tonight. We actually attempted to go bowling but it turned out to be a little too much money just to bowl a few games. I guess she wanted to pick up the tab after I paid for everything last time. We ended up going to Republic noodles and talking about tripping out and strip clubs. I guess I like the fact that she has that experimental streak to her. Then we walked around Barned & Noble which she dug because she works in editing.


The problem is I am not so attracted to her. I am tall and lanky and she is short and stubby. Though like usual in a dark bar and a few drinks I can get over it. I feel like this could be a FUPA repeat. I might try to plan the friend card though and hold out for something better. But on the other hand this girl is fun to get wasted with and you never know where than can go…
